Welcome to the Registration Section of the Spartan Website. If your child is new to the Spartan Swim Club, by now you've explored the other sections of the website and are ready to enrol your child in the club. Welcome! If your child is a returning swimmer, proceed to the registration instructions below. If you don't know what level to register your child in, please talk to your child's coach or call the Spartan office.

Most children who are new to competitive swimming register in at least one session of the Starters Program. If you think your child should be in a different level, please contact the Spartan Swim Office at 604-858-SWIM to discuss your choice with our coach, Justin Daly.

To Register:

  1. Print off a copy of the Spartan Swim Club Registration form, the Waiver of All Claims form, Medical Information form and personal Consent form.   1. Complete the Waiver, Medical and personal consent forms.
  2. Complete the Registration form (see below)
  3. Attach Payment. Payment may be made by cash or cheques (payable to the Spartan Swim Club) and may be made in full for the swim season or via post-dated cheques. If you are registering more than one child, each additional sibling receives a $5/$20 reduction in their sessional/monthly swim fees.
  4. Submit the Registration forms and payment. Bring everything to the next registration session (phone the office at 858-SWIM for dates and times) or drop it off at the Spartan mailbox at the Cheam Centre (hand it to the front counter staff). You can also contact our Registrar by e-mail to find out when the next registration session is or for questions regarding registration.

How to Complete the Registration Form:

  1. Complete your child's personal information and sign the form.
  2. Indicate the Level that you are registering your child in. If unsure, refer to the other sections of this website or call the Spartan office.
  3. Enter the pool and times during which your child will be swimming. For the Starter group, please refer to the schedule above. For all other levels, check the appropriate program description via the links below.
  4. Enter the appropriate amount of insurance (Swim BC registration fee), competitive license fee, sessional/monthly fee and Parent Participation Fees that you owe. Please note that swimmers in the Starter program are not required to pay Parent Participation/Fee Reduction Program fees. You may view and print the Fee Schedule by downloading it below. How to Read the Fee Schedule:

  1. Find the group in which you will be enrolling your child in the first column.
  2. The insurance fee (Swim BC Registration fee) is in the second column and the Competitive License fee is listed in the third column. Both these fees are based on your child's age (excluding the Starter and Improver levels) and are mandatory fees that the club must send to Swim BC on each swimmer's behalf.
  3. The monthly fees are listed in the fourth column according to level. These fees may be paid in a lump sum for the season or via monthly post-dated cheques. We request that all post-dated cheques be submitted at the time of registration. Should a swimmer be unable to continue swimming prior to the end of the swim season, 30 days written notice must be given to the Spartan Swim Club Executive and the remaining post-dated cheques will be returned.
Fee Reduction Program/Parent Participation Points are listed in the final column. These amounts are payable to the Spartan Swim Club in two installments - one dated Jan 31st, 2010 and the other dated May 31th, 2010. The Fee Reduction Program can be worked off through volunteer activities within the Club, through fundraising efforts (i.e. Chicken order sales, Epicure Spices, Plant Sales, etc...).
